Warning. Keeping multiple males in the same enclosure can create cohabitation conflict. If keeping multiple ensure the enclosure is large enough to enable them to establish their own territories.
Small, vibrant lizards native to the southeastern United States. Known for their ability to change colour from bright green to brown. These agile climbers prefer warm, humid environments and are commonly found in trees, shrubs, and urban areas. Green anoles primarily feed on insects and spiders. Males display a bright red throat fan, or dewlap, to attract mates and assert dominance. Due to habitat loss and competition from invasive brown anoles, their populations are declining, prompting conservation efforts to protect this fascinating species.
